World Showcase (2)

Our tour of World Showcase continues, now we walk to France, Morocco, and Japan.

France

When you walk from International Gateway, the view of the river and the bridge  will remind you La Seine in the center of Paris. It's a Paris of an other century you can visit, and the film "Impressions de France" is a little outdated...

Anyway, you will enjoy French pastries at the Boulangerie Pâtisserie a small Parisian-style sidewalk café, and shopping at Les Vins de France or French perfumes as Guerlain at Plume et Palette.
Morocco

No need of magic carpet to be transported to Morocco, even you can meet Genie !

The prayer tower is a replica of Koutoubia Minaret in Marrakesh and acts as a landmark.

You will discover little streets and shops of the bazaar. Arches, fountains, mosaics created by native artisans are beautiful.

Japan

A vermilion torii gate frames World Showcase Lagoon, you are in Japan.

The pagoda has a blue roof, and is based on the 8th century Horyuji Temple in Nara. Each level represents an element of Buddish belief: earth - water - fire - wind - sky.

Before some shopping at Mitsukoshi Department Store you can rest in the japanese garden.
